// Why "Caesura"?

In music and in poetry, a caesura is a pause. Caesurae are often points of reflection or emphasis and can indicate a shift to come.
We believe that the best way to progress through an inflection point is to take a reflective pause, allowing us to regroup and move forward with intention and clarity.
Those two parallel lines you keep seeing in our branding are the traditional punctuation mark for caesurae (// or ||). Hence our logo!

About Lee Ann
Lee Ann specializes in helping small and mid-market businesses grow without breaking. Over a 20+ year career, she has led organizations across industries spanning from healthcare to coffee supply chain to recreation to venture capital. She’s developed a reputation for walking into complexity and bringing clarity. Lee Ann has helped founders launch concepts, helped owners build systems that generate consistent revenue, and has created people and operational infrastructure for companies that have outgrown their original systems. As a certified executive coach, she brings the same rigor to leadership development that she brings to operations.
As a life-long athlete, Lee Ann applies personal performance principles to business strategy. Every event has a goal, a training plan, and an execution strategy. (And, as an ultradistance runner, she knows that the race doesn’t always go as planned and is always ready to pivot if needed.)

About Caitlyn
After teaching writing at the university level for nearly seven years, Caitlyn brought her audience and messaging skills to a more corporate setting, jumping on every opportunity to say yes and learn more. Starting in internal communications, she quickly moved into project management, then into marketing oversight for full product lines, eventually running end-to-end marketing for a venture capital investment brand portfolio. Along the way, she’s worked with businesses at every stage, from concept launch to product diversification to organic growth to scaling through acquisitions.
After almost a decade, she’s been in nearly every seat on a marketing team and personally done the work across almost every channel. So when she’s setting strategy or coaching someone through their role on the team, she’s not guessing. She’s been there.
What Does Caesura Mean to You?
As a poet and medieval lit nerd (don’t get her started on Beowulf), the caesura holds an extra special place in her heart as a poetic device. As a marketing coach, that pause is just as important as a way to help businesses with intention and clarity before taking meaningful action.
